Factory Worker ( Production Operator)

Our client is an established pharmaceutical manufacturer in Hal Far, Malta, producing both active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished medicines. Around 180 people work there, from a wide mix of nationalities and age groups, and the production team is growing.

The role

You run and monitor the equipment that manufactures pharmaceutical products. You follow written procedures precisely, document your work, keep your area to pharmaceutical standards and flag anything that looks wrong. This is a hands-on production role, and you will be working directly on the production floor rather than in a traditional office environment. Accuracy matters more than speed.

You do not need a pharmaceutical background, training is provided on site. What you do need is care, reliability and the discipline to follow a process the same way every time. 

Shifts

Twelve-hour rotating shifts: one day shift from 06:00 to 18:00, one night shift from 18:00 to 06:00, then two days off, and the pattern repeats. This is permanent, not occasional overtime. A shift allowance is paid on top of your base salary.

What you bring

• English at C1 level, spoken and written. Any other language is welcome, none required.
  
• Work experience, ideally in production, technical work, the food industry or customer service
  
• Willingness to work permanent rotating day and night shifts
  
• Precision, reliability and comfort working to written procedures
  
• Readiness to relocate to Malta and organise your own move

• EUR 20,600 to 23,800 gross per year, depending on your experience, education and soft skills
  
• An annual bonus of 5 percent of your salary, measured against KPIs you get to know once you join

Relocation

Only applicants that hold an EU citizenship or work permit for Malta will be considered. Travel, accommodation and the cost of the move, you arrange and pay for yourself, so plan for savings to cover your first weeks in Malta.
