About the role:As a Credit Officer FI/SE, you will work with credit assessments related to our Finnish market and support customers throughout the credit application process. Your work will directly contribute to responsible lending decisions and the bank's risk management.
You will join a team of four people consisting of three Credit Officers and one Team Manager. The team works closely together, supporting each other in daily tasks and collaborating with other departments such as Customer Service, AML and Fraud Prevention. English is frequently used within the team, while Finnish and Swedish language skills are important for handling customer-related tasks.
The role involves both analytical work and customer interaction, where you will review credit applications, communicate with customers and contribute to improving processes within the department.
This is also a great opportunity to build strong credit expertise, which is highly valuable across the banking and financial services industry. As NOBA continues to evolve, there are opportunities to grow within the credit department or explore roles in other areas of the bank.
Main tasks:- Assess loan applications, credit cards and credit limit increases
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness and make responsible lending decisions
- Handle customer inquiries related to credit applications across different channels
- Mange payment files and follow up on failed payments
- Contribute to improving processes and developing best practices within the team
- Support onboarding and training of new colleagues when relevant
- Collaborate with other departments such as Customer Service, AML and Fraud Prevention
We are looking for you who:- Are fluent in Finnish and English (required)
- Have a basic understanding of credit assessments, loans and financial products
- Have experience from banking, finance, customer service, credit assessment or a related field.
It is advantageous if you:
- Speak Swedish in addition to Finnish and English
- Have experience from banking or financial services industry
