Responsibilities
- Translation:
- Translate website content from German to Finnish, maintaining the tone, style, and messaging of the original content.
- Ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Adapt content to the linguistic and cultural nuances of the Finnish audience to enhance user engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide input on design elements and user interface components for optimal localization.
- Conduct thorough proofreading and quality checks to guarantee error-free translated content.
- Address and resolve any linguistic or cultural discrepancies that may arise during the translation process.
- Work closely with content creators, marketing teams, and web developers to understand context and ensure accurate translations.
- Provide timely updates on translation progress and collaborate on any challenges or revisions needed.
- Work with the web development team to implement translated content on the website.
- Ensure proper formatting, layout, and functionality of the translated content within the website framework.
Requirements
- Language Proficiency:
- Native-level proficiency in Finnish and a strong command of the German language.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Proven experience in translating content, particularly for websites, marketing materials, or digital platforms.
- Familiarity with translation tools and localization processes.
- Deep understanding of Finnish culture, trends, and linguistic nuances.
