As a Customer Protection Officer, your main job is to create detailed profiles about our customers' risk levels and financial capacities, utilizing both open and paid sources. You will be responsible for identifying, monitoring, and carrying out customer interactions related to safer gambling, focusing on identifying potential risky behavior and any Anti Money Laundering concerns. You will be advising players and educating them on safer gambling matters.
What you will be doing:
- Monitoring and identifying potential risks related to safer gambling and anti-money laundering (AML).
- Engaging in case management, focusing on enhanced due diligence and safer gambling.
- Advising and educating customers on safer gambling practices.
- Building and maintaining relationships with the Compliance, AML, Account Managers, Fraud, and Payment teams.
- Working on a shift basis where some weekend working would be required. Usually one in every five weekends.
The ideal candidate:
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Finnish.
- Previous experience in the iGaming industry either in a customer support role, AML/CDD or safer gambling role, will be considered a strong asset.
- Passionate about safer gambling - having a mindset for prevention and protection of customers.
- Keen interest in the psychology of addiction.
- A natural curiosity and a drive to find out more.
- Ability to work within a team and build relationships with other departments and stakeholders.
- Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail.
